OS installation questions
What operating systems do you install?
We install Windows 10/11, popular Linux distributions (Ubuntu, Fedora, Linux Mint, Pop!_OS, and more), and macOS on compatible Apple hardware. We can also set up dual-boot configurations.
How long does OS installation take?
Typically 2-4 hours depending on your computer's speed, the operating system being installed, and the amount of data to backup/restore.
Will I lose my files during installation?
No. We backup all your important files before OS installation and restore them afterward. Your data is safe with us.
Do I need a license for the operating system?
Windows requires a valid license (many PCs have a digital license built-in). Linux is free and open-source. macOS is free for Apple hardware but cannot be legally installed on non-Apple computers.
